The story behind
As an ambitious kart driver, you’re constantly chasing faster lap times to reach the podium. Yet, relying only on your in-kart perspective, a few tips from the pits, and basic lap time comparisons won’t uncover the critical insights needed for real progress.
Professional kart drivers have permanently mounted dashboards on their karts, providing real-time information on delta times, best laps, previous laps, and more.
However, a fixed dashboard setup isn’t feasible on rental karts.
Although many smartphone apps can gather this data and offer live timing insights and after-race analysis, a key challenge remains: there’s no secure, user-friendly solution to mount your smartphone visibly on a rental kart. Especially considering the wide variety of steering wheel shapes and sizes.
Even if you manage to secure your phone with straps and rubber bands, your valuable device remains unprotected from vibrations, and there’s still no way to mount your Racebox.

On kart tracks, you typically only see your overall lap times - displayed on track and available as a printout afterward. However, these times don’t provide detailed insights into exactly where on the track you’re gaining or losing time.
With your smartphone mounted and the live-timing app open, you get real-time feedback while driving, instantly revealing areas for improvement. No need to rely on memory to recall your performance across numerous laps in a training session.

To get the most out of our system, we recommend using high-quality third-party products from specialized companies, like a smartphone mount and GPS receiver.
The smartphone mount securely attaches your device to the kart, allowing you to view lap times and performance data in real-time, while also protecting your valuable phone from vibrations that could damage sensors or other sensitive components.
A high-accuracy GPS receiver ensures precise tracking of your location on the track, giving you deeper insights into your driving performance.
Together, these tools provide the accuracy and convenience that make our solution truly effective.
After extensive research and testing, we concluded that these products offer the best in quality, flexibility, functionality, and service. It’s as simple as that.
While all-in-one dashboards offer convenience, they come with several downsides: they’re significantly more expensive, require complex installation with screws and bolts, and include features that aren’t usable on rental karts (such as various physical sensor data). Additionally, they lack flexibility when switching karts, which can be a hassle in events like endurance races. And most rental kart providers do not even allow any physical installations on their karts.
Our solution is designed to be non-invasive and easily attachable without the need for permanent fixtures, making it compliant with typical rental kart restrictions. This way, you can enjoy the benefits of real-time data and performance tracking without violating provider policies or needing complex installation.

Different kart wheels come in a variety of shapes and diameters, which can affect how securely and effectively a mount fits. Special adapters ensure that your device is held firmly in place, regardless of the wheel type, providing stability and accurate positioning. These adapters are designed to accommodate the unique contours of each wheel, enhancing both safety and performance during your drive.
Due to legal restrictions, we are unfortunately unable to provide any information about the price at this time.
However, rest assured that the complete recommended system will be more cost-effective than all-in-one solutions. Additionally, you have the flexibility to assemble your own base configuration for roughly the cost of a pair of quality karting gloves.

No, unfortunately, our system is designed for outdoor use only and is not compatible with indoor settings. The tracking features rely on GPS, which typically doesn’t function effectively indoors due to limited satellite reception.
We considered using your mounted phone to receive full-screen messages during races or as part of an intercom setup in combination with systems like Zeronoise PIT-LINK PRO.
Not necessarily. However, an internet connection is very useful for analyzing your racing line over satellite images of the track or for sharing your data.
