Standard shipping

• We supply customers throughout the EU as well as Switzerland, Norway and the UK.
• Usually your order will be shipped within 72 hours prepared for shipping (working days, excluding weekends and holidays at our warehouse locations).
• If there are any unexpected delays, you will be informed by email.
  
  

Express processing

• If you need it particularly quickly, you can choose the priority option.
• For a fee of €9.90, your order will be processed with priority and dispatched on the same working day – provided it is received by us by 11:00 a.m. (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
• Orders placed after this time will be shipped the following business day. Please note that we guarantee priority processing, but delivery is handled by external shipping providers.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Should something not fit or not meet your expectations, you can of course return your order.

This is how the return works:

• You can return items within 14 days of receiving the goods.
• The items must be returned unused, undamaged and in their original packaging, including all packaging contents.

• We recommend insured shipping with tracking.

Refund:
After inspecting your return, we will refund your purchase amount within 7 working days using the original payment method.

Exceptions to the right of return:
Custom-made or personalized items cannot be exchanged.

Generally

• Intended use only: This product is intended exclusively for use in karting. Use for any other purpose is not permitted.
• Professional installation recommended: Ensure proper installation before use. Improper installation may result in damage or detachment of the device during the race.

Handling & Assembly

• Secure attachment: Before each use, check that all components are securely installed.
• Check compatibility: Make sure your steering wheel and smartphone mount are compatible with the Kart Buddy system.
• Do not overtighten: Overtightening fasteners can cause material stress or breakage. Maximum torque: 3 Nm
• Use only approved accessories: To ensure safety and reliability, use only adapters, brackets and accessories approved by MOKADAMO.

During use

• Focus on the track: The Kart Buddy is used for performance analysis – but never distract yourself from driving during the race.
• Avoid extreme conditions: Do not expose the product to excessive moisture, extreme heat, or mechanical stress outside its specifications.
• Check for wear: Check the product regularly for damage, wear, or loose parts. Replace components as needed.

Smartphone security

• Secure your device: Make sure your smartphone is correctly and securely seated in the mount before you set off.
• Screen readability: Adjust your smartphone's display settings so that they are easy to read and not distracting in racing conditions.
• Impact protection: The mount is designed for stability – however, strong vibrations or accidents can still endanger your device.

Not approved for FIA/CIK races

• The MOKADAMO Kart Buddy is not approved for FIA/CIK sanctioned kart races because FIA/CIK regulations prohibit the use of unauthorized electronic devices during racing.
• Additional devices can affect the weight and handling of the kart
• Strict telemetry regulations prohibit the use of external devices such as smartphones for live data collection.
• External devices must not protrude beyond the defined dimensions of the steering wheel – no MOKADAMO solution meets this requirement.
• For official FIA/CIK races, please consult your race organizer's current regulations before using any additional electronic equipment.

Prohibited use in road traffic

• The MOKADAMO Kart Buddy is intended exclusively for use on the racetrack and may not be used on public roads.
• The device does not meet the legal requirements for road traffic.
• Use on public roads can lead to distraction and increased risk of accidents.
• Unauthorized use on the road can lead to loss of insurance coverage and legal consequences.
• Use the MOKADAMO Kart Buddy only in designated kart facilities and on race tracks that expressly permit such devices.
